Jan started her treatment yesterday at Royal Brisbane and Woman's Hospital. She is under the care of the Oncology department and is getting excellent care and the people have been so supportive and friendly to us both. After all the trepidation and waiting, it was a relief to get started. To our surprise, Jan has coped excellently so far, and has had little discomfort and is managing well. I am so proud of her, and we both know that this treatment is for her long term future, to be clear of any Cancerous cells that may be left after her operations.
