In the edition of the Courier mail yesterday, it is interesting to not the reactions to some of the Olympics aftermath - some quoted here:
"Most Dissapointing Nation" - South Africa - One Silver medal was a woeful reward for a great sporting nation of 48 million.
"Biggest Mystery" - Why so many relay teams drop batons when running. It's all they do in life. It's like an accountant saying he can't add up. (in the 4x100 mens, the USA, Kenya and South Africa dropped the baton in the one heat - then the British did the same thing next heat with Spain - all three medal winners from Athens)
