Saturday we attended the Valley's District Cricket Club Presentation day for the 2009/2010 season. Ian was presented with the All Rounder of the year award and a certificate for scoring 500 plus runs, by one of the Queensland Bulls Players. The batting prise went to a chap from the half season side (who had a better average than Ian) although Ian scored a few hundred more runs at a slightly lower Average. Ian was the best Best Batting Aggregate for the year and took the most wickets in Under 15 in the season as well.
Next month, Ian will receive two trophies from The North Brisbane Junior Cricket Association for most wickets in Under 15 in the Brisbane region and Player of the Round in Round 9 for his 92 not out and his 5 wicket haul. Well done mate we are all very proud of you.
