Zuma for president - poll

Johannesburg - A survey has found the majority of South Africans still support the ANC's controversial deputy leader and sacked deputy president, Jacob Zuma, as their first choice to succeed President Thabo Mbeki.
The Marikinor survey found that if the election were to take place today, Zuma would have a better-than-even chance of inheriting the highest political position in the land: 52% were for him, and 48% against.
The two questions posed to the participants, all older than 16, were: "Would you support Jacob Zuma as South Africa's next president and: "If not, who would you support".
Others in the running, according to the poll, are former union leader and billionaire businessman Cyril Ramaphosa (14%), finance minister Trevor Manuel (9%), outgoing opposition leader Tony Leon (6%) and foreign affairs minister Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma with 4%.
The profile of the average Zuma fan is male, black (62% of black men support him) younger than 25 (55% of South Africans in this age group are behind him), no tertiary education (64% of those with no post-school education support him, compared with 27% of people with tertiary education) and probably live in KwaZulu-Natal (where 77% of the inhabitants support Zuma).
So, let me get this right....they want 1. A Rapist as the President, 2. A rapist that rapes an HIV positive woman (knowingly), 3. Doesn't use a condom, 4. Thinks it's okay as long as he had a shower after the rape, 5. Is a bankrupt, crooked politician as the next President - Shit, it doesn't get that much better than that for my country. Good PR to show the world. What do you think the Rand will do then?
