Cos it saw Queen Mary's bottom......and so did I in Sydney Harbour yesterday - what a magnificent ship. She later had a reunion with the Queen Elizabeth 2 and a huge fireworks display (a la Sydney). This was the first time both ships (or their replacements) have been in Sydney Harbour together since picking up troops during the war. Queen Mary 2 is 23 stories high and could not fit under the Sydney Harbour bridge - she is 4 rugby fields long and beautiful. I went over the bridge and around circular quay on my way back to Brisbane from an operations managers meeting in Sydney on the Monday and Tuesday.
