Southbank to Surfers Ride - another 100km

I will be doing the second of my 100km plus events next Saturday - the USM Southbank to Surfers Paradise ride. This one has all the Tour De France boytjies like Cadel Evans, Robbie McEwan and so on riding as well, and this one I intend doing a sub 3 and a half hours (if I don't have a snapped spoke this time) like I did the last ride. I should be okay as I have had my Ultegra wheel that blew out coming down Mt Cootha a month or two ago, replaced with a new one. The result is I now have my matched wheels which are stiffer than the old rear I was using.
Just hope the Tour boys will be able to keep up with me......and that Emmie gets to the finnish to bring her old man home - because he will be the usual crumpled self after all the exertion..(Jan will have left for Cape Town with Ian the day before)
