The differences - all a numbers game

The road death toll has rocketed up to 25 from last week was 16, with only one reported death in Queensland in the December holidays. This, in an area two and a half times the size of South Africa (Queensland)

National holiday road toll now stands at 25
The national Christmas road toll now stands at 25. A motorcylist is dead and six people have been taken to hospital after two separate car crashes in Melbourne late this afternoon.

Yes Yes, but you don't have Taxi's, over crowding and 50 million people living in an area half the size of Queensland... our roads are at least 10 - 20 times more conjested than Aus..

You do have double carriageways on nearly all national roads and you also have cheap cheap air fairs, so more people fly....

All in all our death toll is down from 1440 to 1142. 460 (40%) of those are pedestrians!!!! Dronk op Straat!

So, as a percentage, 0.0023% of South African's died on the roads this year during the festive season - not bad considering one year was like 4000!!!! :P

Hope you're all well.... phone me some time!! Love you and Ems lots and lots,

Ryano
