Looking forward to 2008 - setting our goals

Some of the more interesting things we will be looking forward to in the new year will be:

During 2007 I lost 20kg in weight (but put on 5 over the last 8 months when not on diet) but never the less that was a 15Kg nett loss which I intend to DO AGAIN in the new Year. As I have proved, I can lose 6kg in the first week, so January the 1st is just around the corner and I will be back on my diet in a serious way. I have to lose another 20kg to keep the 15kg nett loss in 2008 as I have done before.

We are looking forward to Emma completing her degree in 2008. She will have three sessions of pracs to do, but we know she will do them and pass as well as she has to date.

In 2008, we intend to buy our second investment property (see below) at the Ashgrove Golf club just down the road from us.

Travel will take me to Perth regularly, Bunbury and Port Hedland (on a monthly basis at least), Townsville, Mackay and Sweden (via the UK) in March, Sao Pauolo (Brazil) via San Fransisco in April and Columbus Ohio (USA) via Los Angeles in May. A trip back to South Africa is also on the horizon to sign up a few new people to join Hagglunds Drives.

I will ride about 4 000km on my bike and complete another Brisbane to Surfers Paradise ride in preperation for my anticipated ride in the Argus in March 2009 (in the planning)

Emmie asked me to add that she plans to get a job in the new year - she has spoken to the wife of my Service manager who has her own TV production company, and she wants Emmie to come and work for her in the new year.

I know Jan is planning to do a course in Brisbane and will look for a job after that as a medical receptionist close to The Gap.

Ian will score his first 50 at cricket and go on to bigger and better things, hopefully getting his districts cap in 2008 for Brisbane North.

Will add to this list in the near future as i have many more plans for the new year - stay tuned
