In Perth this week I was able to catch up with Andy and Antoinette Mcartney and John Hillen. As it turns out I went to Andy's house and said I must look up John sometime, when I discovered they were next door neighbours.....can you believe that??, Andy has now moved down the road, but still owns the house next door to John and Gail. We met for a few beverages at the Mullaloo Beach Hotel near Hillaries Harbour and had a great time phoning Richard in the UK and Jan in Brissie to speak to John. "George Arch" was not a happy chap when we told him it was 5:30 in the arvo and it was 34 degrees outside and we were overlooking the sea at "half past beertime".
I now also have Allan and Fiona Hall's number and will be seeing them next time round in Perth as they live not 5 minutes from the self same pub...small world.
