I must admit to being very proud of the South African cricketers recently, even if I said I am supporting the Aussies, but then only because I can support both.....lol, not only did they win the test series, the One day series, but also the Tri-nations (RSA vs Aussies vs New Zealand) beach cricket series. This was held over three weekends and we were able to see the last weekend's games at Coolangatta whilst we were there. Seeing Pollock, Adams, Hall, Symcox, Donald, Jonty and Faanie brought back many happy moments in our lives and the best was they won the whole series, beating the Kiwis in the final (in some rain as well). Ian collected all the signatures and some balls (which swing like anything I might add) and we both got South African shirts for $15 and hats for free. Oh and did I mention the whole thing was free ....the tickets entrance everything. Thanks XXXX Gold...that's Gold.
