Worst sports comentators in Australia

The results of this poll held today will no doubt be vindication for Dad A as he hates Tony Greig with a passion, but interesting to see that virtually the whole channel Nine cricket mob gets a pasting from the Aussies - enjoy.....

The worst of a bad lot

WOW, sports commentators on TV and radio are about as popular as politicians and superannuation fund managers right now.
Last week, I asked you to nominate your least favourite commentators and you certainly haven’t held back _ nominating a grand total of 78 commentators as the “worst”.
The nominations rank from a few I haven’t ever heard about from more obscure sports to the very top: Prime Minister Kevin Rudd for his guest spots during the cricket Test series against South Africa.
Anyway, I’ve gone through the nominations and your Worst 1 were . . . drum roll please . . .

1: Phil Gould (rugby league). No real surprises there although it is supposed to be the NRL off-season!
2: Ray Warren (rugby league/swimming). Ditto
3: Ian Chappell (cricket)
4: Tony Greig (cricket)
5: Mark Nicholas (cricket)
6: Mark Taylor (cricket)

7: Gordon Bray (rugby union)
8: Sandy Roberts (tennis/golf)
9: Bruce McAvaney (tennis/athletics/AFL etc)
10: Andrew Johns (rugby league), just ahead (should that be behind?) of his brother Matthew.
