PNG in Pictures

Here are some photo's of the PNG trip, the "Donga" I stayed in (basically a 20 foot container done up as a bedroom) The Mine is so far up in the mountains (a 30 minute drive in a 4X4) that you are always in the cloud. Quite a strange feeling I must say, always raining and you carry an umbrella everywhere you go. The plane flys up the valley and lands at the end - thats it. In the war, the Aussie pilots used to get the Japanese pilots to follow them up the valleys and then when they got into the thick cloud, they would pull up hard, leaving the Japs to fly straight on and into the mountains.
