Ian scores a great 77 today

Ian played a really good innings today, and I was so proud to watch him from the other end whilst umpiring, score a great 77. He was eventually out bowled (going for his 4th six....) He was obviously seeing the ball well, and hit three huge sixes, loosing the ball twice, and some fantastic cover drives and hooks peppered his innings. Unfortunately all the heroics was not enough to help the team win against Toombull, a very strong side. This was Ian's top score, and now that he sees he can do it, I am sure he will be heading for his maiden century soon. Well done Iano.
