Second game Valley's vs. Redcliffe at Fawley Fields (synthetic pitch) Valleys batted first and made 160 in their 55 overs (an improvement on the first game) Ian stayed in for a few overs and some good bowling, but nicked a ball to be caught in the slips for 2. Two of my other boys, Josh Cutterbuck and Sebastian Hetzal batted very well for the side making 60 odd and 42.
In our fielding session, we bowled very well, Ian taking 2 good wickets and having a sitter of a catch dropped off his bowling. We lost first innings points as they passed our score a few balls before their 55 overs ran out - Game Drawn.
