Busy, Busy, Busy

Have been very tied up recently at work. Been up to our Mackay office every week for the last three as we did not have a Branch Manager. Luckily, I have been able to appoint a new chap, so that should take the pressure off on that side. This is nicely balanced out by the fact that I have now taken over the running of the Brisbane Branch in addition to my Regional Operations role.....oh well , never a dull day.

We are in the middle of our budget period and I am going to be going up to Townsville next Monday, Cairns on Thursday and Friday for our new branch official opening there, and then will play Bowls with Roy in our office social day on Sunday. All this in between the usual Christmas parties at the office and the Children's Christmas party for Komatsu that will be held at Wet'n Wild this year on the Gold Coast (Ian can't wait). I will also be going down to Sydney the following week, Mackay and Gladstone the week after. This will have to fit in between a number of other meetings, but then we will have a break from the 21st December and after Christmas I will be taking Jan and Ian up to Palm Cove (just North of Cairns) for a weeks holiday at the Novotel Palm Cove Resort hotel - Bliss. Hope to do some Scuba Diving on the reef and maybe travel the area with Jan and have a nice relaxing time.
