The Diet Starts to bite hard

Some of you will know I started a very serious diet in the beginning of January, and it is starting to have the desired effect. I figured that if I wanted to live long enough to see my Grand Children, I better do something about my weight. I bought a scale (digital job- so I can't bull dust myself)and set about the diet with passion. Jan and the children have had to bear the results of my crankyness unfortunately, and the first 4 days were the worst. But after the first weigh in at the end of week I , I had lost 6.1Kg. Week two arrives tomorrow morning, and I am expecting to have lost at least 10Kg in the first two weeks (which was my first target).
I am only targetting bite sized chunks so I do not have to worry about something in the future, or ideal weights etc.
If I have made the 10Kg, I will stay on the diet for the next X Kg's to take the tally to 20Kg (However long that will take) as it should slow down.
The diet consists of NO Dairy, No Alchohol, No Carbs (potatoes, rice, bread), No cooldrinks (although you can have a can of Sprite Zero a day if you want, and everything gets weighed. You can generally have meat fish or chicken (110grams), and the same in Veggies, Breakfast lunch and supper. So here's to eating nothing for the next few weeks, and to the new body.

Also been on my bike riding again, and it is just so much easier going up the hills.....

Hi Dave,
My thoughts are with you. It is never easy to lose weight - I am in a similar position and once our plans are finalised I will definitely be doing something as well. Need to drop 10kg (at least). Keep up the good work - looking forward to seeing a slim trim Dave when we get to Brisbane.
