Well done Emmie...

Emmie received this today from her University. So, Apart from being a "golden Key student" she has now been given a new honour..

You have been identified as being among the outstanding students in the Faculty of Education after two years of a pre-service Bachelor of Education Course. Consequently you have been selected as a Dean’s Scholar. For many of you this will be a continuation of your performance from 2005 and thus this letter is confirmation of your status. Members of the Dean’s Scholars Program possess the qualities of learning that could orient them towards a career in educational research and options exist within the Bachelor of Education Course to pursue a research pathway. As a member of the Dean’s Scholars Program you will have the opportunity to get a feel for what benefits a research career could bring. You will have access to support from our Research Centre by way of mentoring, forums and seminars. You will receive other privileges in recognition of your high levels of performance in your studies. Membership of the Dean’s Scholars Program is confirmed annually subject to maintaining a GPA at 6 or above.
