I was lucky enough to win a VIP ticket in our office draw, along with 8 others to go to Suncorp to watch the Tri Nations final and the Bledislow decider. We were so well entertained at the Keg room of the XXXX Brewery and then walked over to the stadium for the match, Afterward, three of my Kiwi office mates celebrated long into the night. This supporting Australian rugby is almost as frustrating as supporting the Springboks, but I must say there is a wonderful atmosphere at these trans Tasman encounters that is very unique, not only to myself, but the South African couple sitting in front of me (now living on the Gold Coast), Linsday Blore (ex PEX mamager in Brisbane) and Durban boy who now works with me at Hagglunds, and Dave Green our Kiwi mates who were sitting two rows behind us. At least I won a case of red from Lindsay on the Bledislow result.....
