Last night's rain

Last night we were again hit by a monster storm - this time with no wind, but way more water than on Sunday. The rain was lapping at our front and back door, but we still remained dry. Not so the Kriels who again had their house turned into a river. They were huddled in the Garage (the only dry place) at 1:30 am when we last spoke, and they will be moving in with us tonight as they just can't sleep in the wet stinky house as the carpets have now been wet since Sunday night. More storms on the way tonight they say at the weather station as well. Strange as it's 30 degrees and hot as all hell today and not a cloud in the sky - this is crazy man!!
Pictured is the Inner City Bypass tunnel at the RNA Showgrounds, the whole highway is closed as was the Western freeway so getting to work took forever today as well.
