Christmas @ Ashgrove

We attended the Ashgrove Christmas festivities this week with all food and drink being free, and snags on the barbie as well, climbing walls for the children and Jan helped out in the "Pamper tent" doing the ladies nails, massages and stuff. Emma danced a solo in the church which she put together and so many people came up to us and said how well she had danced - James did the lighting and sound and the nativity play was great and entertaining as usual. Grant sang in the choir too. All in all a lovely evening. On getting into the car afterward we discovered a massive spider INSIDE the car, about the size of a cup in diameter - you should have seen us all jump out - like the guys jumping out of the taxi in Leon Schuster's movie for the snake...
