Proud Mom and Dad No 2

For the second year in a row, we were made very proud by Emma this year, when she graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a BA Ed (with First Class Honours). Em's we were so happy for you and at least I was able to be at your graduation, unlike Ryan's last year (just, as I had just got back from Sweden and Finland). You have achieved such outstanding results, we are so chuffed for you and for all the hard work you put in over the last 4 years , and I am sure you will make a success of your working career as you embark on it, in 2009. The world is at your feet, and you can only build on the solid base you have.. Both you and Ryan have achieved what your Mom and Dad never did, and you will never know how that makes us feel to have two of our three so far, children who are now well educated, upstanding members of society with great futures in front of you. On more than a number of occasions I had to choke back the tears yesterday (I'm still a soppy old bugger)just thinking that Mom and I have at least done our jobs as best we could with our children, and we now just need to get young "Opps" to this stage to be able to say we have achieved what we wanted to years ago, and even "Opps" is well on his way (see below). Well done again and keep it going.
