This last Saturday, Ian played in his Valley's team game against Everton Park. Ian batted much better than last week and scored 18 runs in a short but effective knock. His drives were good and he scored a few fours this time. Overall, the team are doing well under the circumstances as it was very close to 40 degrees on Saturday and very little wind. The boys were absolutely drained after the morning in the sun. Ian bowled a few overs and came close to taking a wicket, but kept the batsmen quiet at the other end anyway. The game continues this weekend. Picture on the field was of Ian batting - check that stance - classic hey!!
