25th Brekkie with family and friends

We had a great Brekkie for our 25th this morning, mainly family and close friends. Much Bacon and eggs, fruit and the rest. Roy said some very nice words and it was nice to have Mom over here with us as well. Was able to confirm with Dave V and Rory that they are doing the cycle race with me from Brisbane to the Gold Coast in two weeks time, and Grant has bought a brand new bike as well.

Ross Mac made us all very envious by phoning from Copacabana Beach earlier in the morning...uuuurggghh wish we could join you Ross.

Otherwise the family this side are all "upright and vertical" - some of us were relieved that the Boks beat Samoa (mostly B side with the heavies at the end), but South Africa are the first team to qualify for the last 8 in the Rugby world cup, and others were a bit miffed that the Aussies got thumped by the Churra's at the Twenty/20 cricket world cup. So at least one of the Aussie's lost games was from the same team, the other was beaten by Zimbabwe.....Can't let them forget that now can we?
