Riverfire Festival - 1 September

It was the Riverfire festival tonight, with the traditional F1-11 fighter planes doing dump and burns down the river in the middle of town and flying between the buildings (almost) it was spectacular. There were a whole bunch of us there - The Kriels, The Sylvesters, The Packers, The Holms, The Barry's, Roy and Claire, The Cohens, The Beavis'es, The Caplens and more.The show as great and I have put a vidoe I took on my camera here for you all to see just a little bit of the show. Some photo's as well. This is the start of 10 days of festival along the river they have each year. Everything is free and the entertainment is out of this world. Afterward we all met up at the Gap Coffee Club for a "cuppa" before setting out back home. In a fit of Patriotic support for our adopted home, we played Jan's CD on the way home, windows down, huge volume, with "True Blue", "Waltzing Matilda" "The Baggy Green" and even "Advance Australia Fair" with some confused Aussies not understanding why we were all singing along with a sticker on the back of my Prado which says I LOVE CAPE TOWN.....I ask you, what next?.
