And most intimidating it was too - after driving for 30 years (this year) I had to go and write my conversion exam to get a Queensland Drivers licence, then on Thursday this last week, I had to do the driving test. Half an hour of driving a ten ton tessie around the palce, she could only say I "cut a corner" in a narrow road with no lines on it and once did "not look over my sholder when merging from one lane to the other". I guess that means that I can now drive for the next 30 years..
Jan and Emmie passed their conversion written tests and are now doing some driving lessons in preperation for their tests soon - watch this space.....
