May 23, 2007 QUEENSLAND coach Mal Meninga has called on fans to help renew Suncorp Stadium's once fearsome reputation for visiting teams, declaring the Maroons are intent on once again turning it into a "house of terror" for NSW.

So QUEENSLAND 25 NSW 18 - First Game in the bag.

Didn't look like that at half time and we were a bit concerned as the ref had done everything he could to make sure NSW was in the lead, by allowing a NSW try (when the ball was clearly NOT grounded) and not award a QLD try that was at worse a flat pass (saying it was forward), but in the second half, the QLD boys came storming back NSW not troubling the scorers at all in the second half.

We had a lovely Braai at the Holm's house and Faye did some Pap and Gravy for us as well. Next game is on the 13th June at Aussie Stadium. GO THE MAROONS.
