WORLD athletics is in crisis with tests showing champion runner Caster Semenya is a hermaphrodite - a person with both female and male sexual characteristics.
The tests, not yet publicly released, show the 18-year-old has no womb or ovaries.
The International Association of Athletics Federations is expected to disqualify the South African from future events and advise her to have surgery because her condition carries grave health risks, The Daily Telegraph reports.
And she could be stripped of the gold medal she won in Berlin in last month.
Semenya has three times more testosterone than a normal female.
A source closely involved with the IAAF tests said Semenya had internal testes - the male sexual organs which produce testosterone.
I have one question: If a hermaphrodite, He/she is supposed to have BOTH reproductive organs not so? well if he/she has NO OVARIES OR WOMB, then he/she cannot have the reproductive ability of a female BUT he/she HAS TESTES (which although being internal) obviously work because they are producing massive amounts of testosterone (as opposed to any overies being able to produce Estrogen, cos they are not even there) - then she is also not even a Hermaphrodite either. He is clearly male in my book.
Sad as it may seem Caster has been let down terribly by Athletics South Africa and they have made a laughing stock of themselves, and the Country at Caster's expense. Poor kid!

Hey boet! Once again you publish your thoughts BEFORE any FACTS are presented. No 1: Newspapers publish stuff without waiting for proof..... yes even Australian Papers! The "Official" results of the tests done will only be released in NOVEMBER. Don't pretend to have sympathy for Caster if you are going to slag HER off on your blog for everyone to see. I think you put a link, on your blog, to an Australian guy's article about this matter, which if you had bothered to read it stated that is was an incredibly difficult subject, which even he, an expert, found confusing. I think you should give him a ring, because it is obviously very simple to you and you will be able to explain it to him!
Come on, wait for the real results before you mouth off. Dont stoop to the level of the Australian press who could not care less how much hurt they cause provided it shows a south african in a bad light.
Ok Ok! enough already...... hope you and Jan had a fantastic wedding anniversary today. Is it 27 years already... seems like yesterday.
Cheers Graham
PS I would be very happy if you would leave Caster out of your blog in future.
Just read this.....

I quote from the IAAF's official statement regarding this:
"...statements in the Australian press should be treated with caution as they are not official statements by the IAAF.
We have received the results from Germany, but they now need to be examined by a group of experts and we will not be in a position to speak to the athlete about them for at least a few weeks. After that, depending on the results, we will meet privately with the athlete to discuss further action."
cheers
Graham
But then, it's MY blog, that's why I can publish it Gray...no problem, we can talk anytime in the future, She is not going to grow a womb and overies in a hurry.
Thanks for the anniversary wishes, hope you got mine for your birthday (I sent you a mail on the second, but we were all in a tizz as we had our citizenship ceromony on the same day)
