Ian has a wonderful day with the bat

Ian had a great day today, batting in his first innings he scored 40 runs and was unlucky when he did not quite get on top of a cut shot, that was taken very well half way to the boundary, and then later, batting to save the game for his team, scoring 41 not out when time was up. He would have made his fifty easily. All in all, his shot selection was spot on, he applied himself and valued his wicket. I was very proud of his performance, His average is now 81 after the first game of the season.
